Waiting for the End

Post Count: 47

The greatest invention in history is the Warp Drive. Powered by incredible energies, it was an engine of destiny that propels a vessel across the vast ocean of space. The galaxy depends on Warp Drive; without it disease kills, hunger grows, and wars rage as governments fall to dust. Then came the Burn. In an instant every vessel, every outpost, every world using a Warp Drive for power, for propulsion, to live erupted into a ball of flame. Now the galaxy is in pieces with people preying upon others for basic needs and every moment of every day is a struggle to survive.

After months of searching, the crew of Starfleet One have made successful contact with the Federation Starship Anesidora and are invited to travel with them to meet up with Starfleet Battle Group Omega; however, things are far from cozy. After a daring raid by an unknown enemy the command codes for Battle Group Omega have been stolen and they are unable to pursue without risking their own destruction. It is up to the crew of the newly rechristened Federation One to investigate and recover the codes or the last best hope for the galaxy could suffer a fate worse than death.
