| Personal History | Bel Ragh was born on Donatu V. A Klingon world that had strong ties to the Federation. In a system close to that of Sherman’s Planet and Starbase K7, Starfleet and Federation Civilian vessels were a common sight. The young Klingon would hang around the spaceport, where she met many Starfleet officers from a number of species. Over time she developed an interest in biology and physiology. Once while looking for biological specimens, she entered a cave system near her home. It didn’t take long for her to get lost and when she dropped her flash light it broke and she was left alone in the dark. She doesn’t know how long she was there in the dark, but it felt like ages. Eventually she heard voices calling her name and lights heading towards her. A female Bajoran approached her and said. “Bel, I’m Lieutenant Korin, Marine SAR Corps, your father sent us to find you. Are you hurt?” “No,” Bel said. “Just a little scared, but don’t tell my father that.” “Your secret’s safe with me Bel.” Korin said and helped the Klingon back to the entrance and then accompanied her home. After that Bel decided to join the Starfleet Marines, when she was old enough. Bel studied hard and when the time came she enrolled in the Starfleet Marines as an officer, much to her father’s chagrin. After passing Boot camp with flying colours. She went through officer cadet school and chose medicine as her MOS. After further training, Bel was assigned to USS Runnymede as a combat medic while she worked on her doctorate. Eventually Bel would transfer to the Fleet and be assigned to Federation One. |
