| Physical Description | Zehoi D'ian is an athletic woman who's skin is pigmented in pale green and she has heightened cheek bones and angular features within her bone structure. Her hair is dark, but she has been known to dye it, and it typically fades into a red gradient at the tips. D'ian is capable of emitting highly potent pheromones that could impact the physiology of other species. In heterosexual males of many species, including Humans, the pheromones accelerated metabolisms, raising adrenaline production to dangerous levels. This could cause aggression and, after cumulative exposure, levels of delusion and suggestibility. D'ian chooses to self-administer a medication to limit her pheromone production. |

| Personality Overview | Zehoi D'ian can be stoic and distant toward others, but that is an inborn defense mechanism that she uses to not get close to others due to the challenges that she's experienced during her life within the Emerald Chain. D'ian is very caring and has an extreme concern for others, which led her to pursue medical training. She would not refuse help to anyone, even if they were an off-worlder or alien, or even if she hated the person - which differed from the mentality of most of the xenophobic Emerald Chain population. Due to her family's high role in the Emerald Chain and their focus on themselves over others, D'ian has a deep-seated loathing of her family. |
History
| Personal History | Zehoi D'ian was born on Orion as an heiress of the Emerald Chain's D'ian Crime Family. While her family was powerful in the early days of the Emerald Chain, their importance lessened in time and her mother named as Minister of the Andorian Empire's Weytahn Colony when Zehoi was 3 years old. A short time after their arrival on Weytahn her father, Mosro D'ian, was presumed deceased in a separatist attack. When Zehoi was nine years old her mother, B'ree D'ian, married Zylak Vazuz, who took the last name D'ian under Orion custom and met her stepsister, Sui'San, with whom she never managed to become close despite Zehoi's best efforts. Zehoi did, however, become very close with her stepfather, who loved her like his own daughter. Zehoi's life changed when her mother and stepfather had two additional children of their own. While she was attending academy she learned that her brother, Dakkal D'ian, had been born and he was soon followed by a second sibling, a sister named Dahni D'ian. While Zehoi had been the first born to her mother, her sister Dahni would become the next in line for leadership of the D'ian family due to her mother's remarriage. That did not really impact Zehoi much as she never wanted to be a pirate and, instead, wanted to help others. Enrolling in studies to become a Doctor, which she claimed was only so that she could learn more about fast acting poisons. An excellent student (and not just because her instructors were afraid to give her bad reviews), D'ian founded an illegal clinic within a poor neighborhood on Weytahn due to her sympathy toward the plight of others. D'ian possessed a desire to help anyone who was hurt or injured, regardless of their species, homeworld, or political affiliation, which could have caused other doctors to refuse service to them. Operating in secret for almost a decade, her clinic was discovered by her stepsister Sui'San D'ian and shutdown. Instead, Zehoi decided to fully finance the reopening of the clinic herself and prepared to legalize it with the Weytahn government. At 32 years old, Zehoi first met Emiul Thikaik when the Ni'Varian starship Votantius was destroyed in a skirmish above Weytahn by the Andorian Empire. As the Andorian Empire occupied the planet through the Emerald Chain, D'ian knew that any efforts to aid the Ni'Varians would be seen as a criminal act; however, she recovered and took care of some of the Ni'Varians within her clinic, even with the possibility of being arrested for giving care to soldiers affiliated with the Empire's enemy. Of the seven people she rescued, only three survived. Making special arrangements, D'ian was able to forge immigration papers for the Ni'Varians to join their colony. Despite the taboo and potentially criminal nature of their relationship, D'ian has become close with Emiul Thikaik since nursing him back to health and helped him to obtain the salvage vessel Sulaco from her family. Occassionally, D'ian will assist him in his jobs as the medic aboard the Sulaco, but can more commonly be found in her clinic. |
