| Physical Description | Harris is a tall lumbering kind of a man. His face betrays all of his emotion, when he is happy his entire face smiles, and when he is angered the opposite is also true. He is imposing with a strong physique. He keeps a salt and pepper goatee in the french style. He has also been known to be a big cuddly teddy bear. He has a tattoo of his homeworld on his right bicep. Harris has thick wavy hair that is salt and pepper in color. It was originally black. |

| Personality Overview | At first glance Harris seems to be your typical Capellan. Respecting combat before all else, however, that is the image he likes to project especially to those serving under his command. His time with Starfleet has taught him to respect loyalty, and friendship, and how those traits could be beneficial as well. When off duty he is relaxed, enjoying his drink and card games. He is exceptionally proud of his heritage and will speak about Capellan life to anyone who is willing to listen. He typically leads from the front lines. It has been said about Harris that those serving under his command may not like him, but they would do anything for him. + Leads By Example + Approachable + Extremely Loyal - Stubborn - Impulsive - Pushes too hard Harris is one of very few Capellans in Starfleet. In the immediate he would like to learn all he can while rising through the ranks and help his people advance. In the long term he would like to become an instructor at Starfleet Academy. He rather enjoys molding the minds of young officers. Hearing and telling tales, Sparring, Chess, Poker, Discussing famous battles to see if he would do things differently than the commanders of the battles. History
| Personal History | Harris was born on Capella IV in the Earth year of 3129. His father was a sought after Biologist and his mother a Botanist/farmer and housewife. He was the second of four and as such got the brunt of his parent’s ire when they were angry. Harris' older sister is an artist and is sought after by many suitors. His younger brother was the warrior that his dad always wanted where Harris was average in the ways of combat. Harris' younger sister is the apple of her father's eye, and her mother's ideal Capellan woman. Fierce, talented, smart, and lethal what more could a mother ask for. The Zim children fit into the isolationist lifestyle of Capella IV of the time. So Harris took a relaxed approach to his life, the way he saw it if he had to be the wrong one, might as well have a reason to be wrong. His parents made sure that he attended school and was trained in the ways of combat. It was here that his fascination with the Capellan culture actually sparked. He learned that your family is not just your parents and siblings etc. It is your whole tribe and in that thought his entire outlook reversed. Harris Zim became a model Capellan, albeit more of a leader than a fighter. His view of the galaxy at large also changed. He felt that Capella should take its rightful place among the other species of the galaxy. Most of Harris' family wanted him to join the Capellan Guard and protect the planet from the Emerald Chain, as his leadership qualities would take him far. However, he felt that Capellans needed to take a larger place in the galaxy. Harris felt that everything that made a Capellan should be shared with the galaxy. With no other options, due to the burn. He ultimately decided to join the Capellan Guard as he felt that would be the best way to meet other species. With Capella a protectorate of the reunifying Federation. To his surprise his father came around and supported the idea of joining Starfleet. Which was something Zim wanted to do but could not, at least not at that time. He spent most of his early time in the Guard through training. Rising through the enlisted ranks and eventually obtaining a position as an officer. His training and interactions earned him the nickname the Ambassador. As, he enjoyed chatting with all of the visitors to Capella. In September of 3147 Harris was sworn into the Guard as a recruit. His bunkmate was, a Capellan from what used to be a rival tribe, named Trevor and they got along famously. They spent many night exchanging stories. This is what Harris craved the knowledge of other beings. Capellan tribal culture was very isolationist. Harris furthered his training and was trained to be a Master at Arms, as well as Advanced Starship Tactics. During the next two years Harris would come to specialize in hand to hand combat, and starship tactics. He found that he has a head for strategy and leadership. In January of 3150 Harris is given the rank of Private and appointed as a General Tactical Advisor at Camp Jorel. In July 3150 Zim received his first real promotion, for valorous service. He was given the rank of Private First Class. To this day he has not forgotten that first promotion. He was also given a new position, that of Master at Arms. Harris’ time at Camp Jorel would become some of the most memorable as he received accolade after accolade. In 3154 he was granted the rank of Corporal and continued his service at Camp Jorel until 3155. In 3155 tensions were beginning to flair all around the homeworld. The Capellan was a sought after tactician as it was known that he was one of the best on the planet. Harris was transferred to the Orbital Station Chatrek to serve as Tactical Specialist and Weapons Specialist. In 3158 he would receive yet another promotion for valorous service, this time to the rank of Sergeant. In 3160 Harris took shore leave on his home world. While there he met Jeanne Rang the woman who would become his wife. The two fell in love right away and dated despite the distance for three years. In June of 3162 they were married on Capella IV in a traditional ceremony. Their first child Rose Beth would be born in 3165. During this time he also went through Capellan Officer's Training. In April of 3165 Harris decided to get back to doing what he did best. His wife was not fond of this decision, but as a dutiful Capellan wife she remained silent on the matter. He was granted the rank of Second Lieutenant and returned to Orbital Station Chatrel with his family. This time he was appointed the Strategic Operations Officer. During this time Zim exhibited a good head for leadership, and a lead by example mentality. He believed that a person should be broken down and then built back up in the image of the fleet. Fate would step in for Harris in 3170, he was transferred to the Capellan Defense Ship Thalk as Chief Tactician. The Thalk was assigned with protection of Capellan colonies. This allowed for a few skirmishes with the Emerald Chain. Zim would excel here finally testing his knowledge in battle. Zim cherishes this time as the best in his career. In 3176 at the behest of his wife Zim returns to the homeworld to teach at Basic Training. He quickly gets a reputation there as a no nonsense drill instructor. However, his recruits would die to serve under his command. Five years later Harris would have another good change to his life. This change was his promotion to First Lieutenant. This promotion was long overdue and granted for his service protecting the colonies. In 3181 Zim wanted to return to the stars but his wife wanted a husband. She was sick of raising the kids by herself while he gallivanted all over the galaxy. Strangely enough the Guard agreed with her line of thinking and transferred Zim to the Capital City where he was appointed as Chief of Security for the Capellan Visitor's Ministry. Four years into his service at the Ministry he was granted the rank of Captain. Zim would also begin to serve as a liason to the Federation on behalf of the Capellan Guard. This suited him as he enjoyed meeting new people. The Capellan was well on his way to achieving his goal of spreading the Capellan culture however his most difficult challenge was yet to come. In 3190 he was recruited to join the crew of the USS Sulaco. Starfleet would grant Zim the rank of Lieutenant due to his extensive service and training in the Capellan Guard. Since Capella was now a Federation Protectorate this was the best place for Zim to better his people. |

Is granted the Starfleet rank of Lieutenant for time served in the Capellan Guard. |
